RSPCA Derby & District Trustee

At the Derby & District branch of the RSPCA we are looking to recruit two more trustees.  We would welcome all expressions of interest and in particular are keen to hear from people with the following experience:

Do you have a professional expertise you could use to help a good cause?  Are you passionate about animal welfare?  We are looking for trustees to help manage the affairs of the Derby & District Branch, to promote and provide animal welfare within the branch area.

As a trustee you will have the chance to influence how we care for and prevent cruelty to animals.  You would be expected to attend, as a minimum, 6 trustee meetings, lasting approximately 2 hours, spread throughout the year.

It is a great way to meet like-minded people who share your enthusiasm for animal welfare.  You will have the opportunity to gain new skills and develop existing ones, whilst making a real difference to the lives of animals.

Most people over the age of 18 are eligible to become a trustee, but you will need to become a member of the RSPCA.

If you’re interested in applying, or just to find out more about this role, please contact the Branch Manager, Penny Lockwood, at the centre on 01332 344620 or email the Chair of Trustees, Dianne Turner, at diannederbyrspca@gmail.com.
