When Amber came to us, it was quickly clear that she was a very special little girl. Amber has a neurological condition which makes her a bit wobbly. She has had the condition since birth, but it isn't progressive, meaning it won't get worse over time. She also has reduced vision in one eye, due to scarring. She has learned to cope with her wobbliness and her vision limitations very well and doesn't let it stop her from playing and exploring her foster home. Due to her condition, Amber will have to be an indoor cat, and she will need to be the only pet in the home.
Amber was very shy when she first came to us, but her fosterers worked hard to settle her in and gain her trust. She has started to enjoy a good fuss and play, and she loves having company, but she is still a little unsure of unexpected noises. She would like a quiet, adult only home with someone around a lot of the time to keep her company.
