He isn't a typical Dachshund so he's looking for a particular type of home with people who will understand his quirks. He is 3 years old and came to us via an inspector. He enjoys being around people but can also get worried when things are too much for him. He does give good signals to let you know, so he is looking for a home with experienced people who will listen to him.
Elvis's forever home wish list is:
- Adult only home
- Could potentially live with a neutered female dog
- Quiet and experienced home
Elvis has seen a behaviourist who has put a training plan in place that his new family will need to follow. He will need some time and patience adjusting to his new home and settling into a new routine. So that he can start building trust and understanding, he will need to meet his potential new family at our centre several times before being adopted.
