The role of Derby & District RSPCA is to provide help and support for animals and their owners from Derby and the surrounding Derbyshire areas. Our work is invaluable to the lives of the many animals that have suffered from cruelty or neglect.

  • A 12-week old kitten was brought into our care at Abbey Street Animal Rehoming Centre this week with brutal head injuries.
  • Every year, over 1,000 homeless animals are brought in to us. We do our best to find loving homes for all of them. Please make your home one of them. Visit us with an open mind, pick a personality - not a species.
  • Do you want to work for us in our Retail Shops? We have vacancies available.
  • We need you, so we can help them. Do good this summer and hold a Mad Hatter's Tea Party, in support of all the Cheshire Cats, White Rabbits, Door Mice, Dogs and more at your local re-homing Centre on Abbey Street...
Waiting for a forever home. - Please call the centre to check availability and for more information. #Rescue
