Meet Ruben

He is 3 years old and came into our care when his previous owner became unable to care for him. He can be a bit of a shy and timid guy so he needs plenty of time and patience to help him feel more confident.

Ruben's forever home wish list is:
- Adult only home
- No other animals
- Someone with lots of time and patience

Ruben has been through a lot recently, so its understandable he is feeling a little out of sorts. He is a really super boy who really does like people and enjoys being around you, but he just needs a little time to learn he can trust you. Ruben will let you stroke him but he may be a little worried at times and may retreat to a distance he feels safe, but it doesn't take long for him to return for some more love and attention from you.
