Important information regarding adoptions;

You must be aged 18 or over to adopt an animal from RSPCA Derby.

We are not currently open for general viewings of animals. Once you have completed an application form and have been matched with an animal, an appointment will be made for you to meet the animal prior to adoption.

We will add you to our kitten waiting list and contact you as soon as we have a kitten that matches your requirements. Please be patient as this can sometimes take a while.

If you rent/do not own your home, we require proof of permission to keep a pet at the property from the landlord/housing association BEFORE reserving an animal. Please email your tenancy agreement or landlords/housing association permission to [email protected] after completing this form. Please include your full name and address in the email.

Once you have been matched with an animal, we will request photos of your home as we are unable to conduct in-person home visits at the moment.

All our animals are unique and are carefully observed so that we know what they will need in their new home.
