Here at the Derby and District RSPCA on Abbey Street we have been helping the community for over 40 years. We know that at the moment with these challenging times and ever-changing circumstances things can be very hard for people looking after their animals.

If you are experiencing difficulties in keeping your pet - due to health reasons, financial difficulties, job loss or family circumstances - or you bought an animal during lockdown and it hasn’t turned out quite as you thought it would, then please consider contacting us as we might be able to help.

We have the facilities to take in dogs, cats, rabbits, smaller furries, such as guinea pigs and hamsters, and birds. We may not be able to take all larger breed dogs or dogs with some behavioural issues but if we can’t help we can point you in the right direction.

Derby RSPCA creates a welcoming and caring environment for all animals in our care and we never stop in our search to find each animal their perfect new home.

Please contact us on 01332 344620 or by animals@rspcaderby.org.uk.
