Izzy moves on to pastures new

Izzy

You may have seen our Izzy in the local news and press. She was heavily featured as we tried to find her forever home. Here's her story...

Izzy first came to us as part of a national RSPCA inspector case back in December 2022. She spent 9 months in our care but received very little interest and no successful applications, despite all the media coverage. We were determined to give Izzy the best possible chance at finding her forever home, so we reached out to a foster-based rescue to see if they could help...

After discussing Izzy's needs, RSPCA Northamptonshire, an independent animal rescue charity, found the perfect foster home for Izzy, so we started the preparations for her to be transferred into their care.

On Sunday 10th September, our team said an emotional farewell to Izzy as she packed her bags and headed off down to Northampton to her new foster home.

She settled in and made herself right at home! As you can see from this Facebook post, she is living her very best life while she waits to find her forever home.
