Jaffa has been through more than any cat ever should 💔
Jaffa is only two years old, yet her short life has already been filled with heartbreak.
In her previous home, Jaffa was kept in a shed because the children didn’t like the colour of her fur. When she came into our care, she was pregnant and in desperate need of kindness, safety, and compassion.
Tragically, shortly after arriving with us, Jaffa suffered a miscarriage and lost all seven of her kittens.
Three members of our team stayed with her throughout, comforting her, monitoring her closely, and making sure she wasn’t alone for a single moment. She spent the night resting in a warm bed, surrounded by people who cared deeply about her.
Since then, Jaffa has been recovering, enjoying plenty of fuss, gentle care, and rest. Our team continue to keep a close eye on her and give her all the love she deserves.
Jaffa’s story is a heartbreaking reminder of why our work is so important. Thanks to the kindness of our supporters, we’re able to be there for cats like Jaffa when they need us most, offering safety, comfort, and compassion at the hardest moments of their lives.
