RSPCA Derby Online Raffle - Terms & Conditions
We want everyone to enjoy taking part in our online raffle safely and fairly. By entering, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Promoter Details
The promoter of this raffle is Penny Lockwood, Branch Manager,
on behalf of RSPCA Derby & District Branch, Abbey Street Animal Rehoming Centre, 45 Abbey Street, Derby, DE22 3SJ.
Licensed by Derby City Council under the Gambling Act 2005.
Registered charity no. 222620.
2. Eligibility

The raffle is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.

It is an offence for anyone under 18 to enter a lottery.

Employees and volunteers directly involved in running or administering the raffle are not permitted to enter.

Entries from outside the UK will not be included and refunds cannot be issued.
3. How to Enter
-
Raffle tickets are available for purchase via our secure payment platform GoCardless.

Each ticket costs £5, or you can buy 3 tickets for £10, 10 tickets for £25 or 25 tickets for £50.

Each £5 ticket purchased represents one unique entry into the draw.

You may purchase multiple bundles, but each transaction counts separately.

Ticket numbers will be sent by email from [email protected] during working hours (Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm).
Purchases made outside these hours will be processed the next working day. -
Entries will only be included in the draw once full payment has been received.
4. Closing Date and Draw Date

Ticket sales close at 12pm (noon) on Tuesday 11 November 2025.

The draw will take place on the same day using a random number generator, supervised by RSPCA Derby staff.

Late entries will not be included.
5. Prizes

Three winners will be chosen at random.

Each winner will receive:

One personally signed copy of The House of Wolf by Sir Tony Robinson

One invitation for themselves and one guest to attend the grand opening of RSPCA Derby’s new Small Animal Unit and refurbished kennels at the Abbey Street Animal Centre, Derby, at 2.30pm on Friday 14 November 2025.

There is no cash alternative.

The prize does not include travel or accommodation, and winners are responsible for making their own arrangements to attend the event.

If a winner is unable to attend, they will still receive the signed book, but the event invitation will be forfeited.
6. Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted directly by email from [email protected] on Tuesday 11 November 2025.

If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 24 hours, a new winner will be drawn.

Winners’ first names and last initials may be published on RSPCA Derby’s website and social media channels.
7. Refunds and Cancellations

Once purchased, raffle tickets are non-refundable.

RSPCA Derby reserves the right to cancel or amend the raffle if necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.
8. Data Protection

Personal data collected during the raffle will be used solely for the administration of this raffle and will be processed in accordance with the RSPCA Derby Privacy Policy.

We will not share your data with any third parties except as required for payment processing and legal compliance.
9. Responsible Gambling

10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
