Meet Daisy & Caramel

Daisy is around 12 years old and Caramel is around 3, and when they arrived with us they were both in a really sorry state. They were suffering from sarcoptic mange which had left them covered in sores, as well as ear and dental infections that were causing them both a great deal of discomfort. Little Daisy also needed emergency surgery for pyometra. They've had a tough time, but they've faced every bit of it together, and the bond between them is truly something special.

With treatment, care, and plenty of TLC, both girls are feeling so much better and their personalities are really starting to shine. Daisy is a wonderful little old lady with all the authority you'd expect from a seasoned Chihuahua. She's the boss and she knows it! She has her cantankerous moments, but honestly, after everything she's been through, she's more than earned the privilege. Caramel is a happy, affectionate girl who being on your lap, when she's not busy winding her mum up, that is!

When they first arrived, Caramel would stand in front of Daisy as if to shield her from the world, and that loyalty and love says everything you need to know about these two.
