Meet Sandy

Sandy is 6 months old and currently living with one of our amazing fosterers, who has really helped her to come out of her shell. Her confidence has really improved and she is letting her silly, inquisitive personality shine through!

She loves exploring her accommodation, foraging for snacks and running for miles and miles on her wheel.

Here's what we know about Sandy:

💞 Is happy with gentle handling
🧠 Like plenty of space to dig around in, lots of tunnels to hide in and things to nibble on
❤️ Loves zooming on her wheel and foraging for treats

She needs to have a spacious, well-equipped accommodation with lots of digging opportunities, enrichment, hidey holes, and soft bedding. Hamsters are active from dusk to dawn so they can be too noisy to be housed in a bedroom.
